Evette Madrid Nachtigal, ALC

I am a proud Latina and the daughter of a family of domestic violence survivors, which has deeply shaped my passion for helping others find healing and safety. 

I currently work for the federal government and also serve my community as an Associate Licensed Counselor in Alabama through my private practice, Compass Counseling Services.  My clinical focus includes supporting women who are navigating the impacts of domestic violence, postpartum challenges, trauma recovery, and related concerns.

I practice under the supervision of Jay Byham, LPC-S, and I am committed to making counseling accessible.  I offer sliding scale options so that finances are never a barrier to care.

Drawing from both personal history and professional experience, I strive to provide compassionate, culturally attuned care to individuals and families seeking stability and strength.
