With nearly 24 years of dedicated service in nursing, Patrick has built a career defined by compassion, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to vulnerable populations. Specializing in geriatric care and individuals with developmental disabilities, he has become a cornerstone of support and leadership in North Alabama’s healthcare landscape.

Clinical Excellence & Behavioral Health Leadership
For the past two decades, Patrick has served as a certified Medication Administration Services (MAS) nurse, identifying and addressing behavioral challenges tied to mental health, substance use, and other disorders. His expertise has made him a sought-after trainer and mentor, having equipped more than 1,000 staff members across North Alabama with tools to recognize, prevent, and de-escalate aggressive behaviors. By blending clinical knowledge with practical strategies, Patrick helps foster safer, more supportive environments in both care and community settings.

Geriatric Care in the Home
Patrick has also played a pivotal role in geriatric care, overseeing programs that provide 24-hour caregiver assistance for elderly individuals in their homes. By combining compassionate daily support with access to skilled medical contractors, he ensures older adults receive dignified, personalized care without losing independence or comfort.

Advocate for At-Risk Youth
Patrick’s impact extends to youth advocacy, where he spent three years working with at-risk teens facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, and more. Beyond clinical care, he taught vital health education on topics including STD prevention, pregnancy prevention, and connecting with community resources—balancing care, education, and empowerment.

Community Builder
Patrick’s commitment to health goes beyond the clinic. Working with social workers and school officials, he helped compile resources like food bank listings to support families in need. His philosophy embraces a holistic view of health—addressing physical well-being, emotional support, and access to basic needs.

Philosophy & Personal Life
Patrick believes that with training, prevention, and empathy, communities can become safer and more harmonious. As a small business owner and devoted family man, he takes pride in his community and lives by the belief that “we are all in this together.”
