Randall Satterfield

Randy is a proud veteran, dedicated public servant, and a committed community leader based in Huntsville, Alabama. With a life marked by service—to his country, his community, and his faith—Randall continues to impact lives through leadership, mentorship, and compassion.

Randall began his career with a call to serve, enlisting in the United States Coast Guard, where he spent six years conducting critical law enforcement and search and rescue operations. These years honed his discipline, leadership, and unwavering sense of duty—values that have shaped his life ever since.

After his military service, Randall joined the United States Postal Service, where he served the people of Alabama with excellence and integrity for 26½ years. His work ethic and reliability made him a trusted figure in his community. In 2021, Randall retired from the USPS, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism.

Retirement hasn't slowed Randall down—in fact, it's only deepened his commitment to serving others. Today, he plays a vital role in shaping the next generation as a Commander with the Royal Rangers, a Christian boys’ mentoring and discipleship organization affiliated with The Rock Family Worship Center in Huntsville. In this role, Randall leads with compassion and purpose, teaching young boys the values of integrity, service, and spiritual growth through outdoor adventure and faith-based instruction.

Additionally, Randall serves as a Sunday School Coordinator at The Rock, organizing and teaching twice a month, helping children and families build strong biblical foundations.

At the heart of Randall’s life is his beloved family. He has been happily married for 33 years, a testament to his loyalty and love. He is also a proud father and grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren, who keep him inspired and energized every day.

Whether it’s rescuing lives at sea, delivering mail through every season, guiding boys toward manhood, or teaching the next generation about faith—Randall Satterfield leads by example. His life reflects resilience, integrity, and a deeply rooted commitment to making a difference.

Living in Huntsville, Randall remains deeply engaged in local life—especially through his church and the youth he mentors. His story is a reminder that everyday heroes live among us—men and women who serve quietly, faithfully, and passionately without seeking recognition.
