Rachell Pyle

Rachell is the co-founder of Advocacy Family Network and a deeply committed advocate for victims, survivors, and those who serve them. Born into and having lived through nearly 50 years of domestic and sexual abuse, Rachell’s personal experience profoundly shapes her compassionate, survivor-centered approach to advocacy.

After years working in traditional advocacy roles, she became disheartened by the politics, pride, and gatekeeping that often undermined collaboration and genuine community healing. When a friend invited her to explore building something different, Rachell said yes, sparking the creation of Advocacy Family Network. The organization is rooted in transparency, authentic relationships, and a shared commitment to healing across Madison County and beyond.

As former Coordinator of the Domestic Violence Responder Program in Madison County, Alabama, Rachell developed vital partnerships with local organizations to better support survivors and the community. Beyond advocating for victims, she is passionate about uplifting advocates, service providers, and nonprofit leaders who face burnout and vicarious trauma, believing that caring for frontline workers ultimately strengthens the entire community.

Rachell approaches advocacy not as a numbers game but as a human one, centered on healing, hope, accountability, and sometimes, laughter. She embraces the complex realities of family and healing alongside her husband, retired Army Colonel Jason Pyle, with whom she shares a home and four beloved pets. Their journey through trauma, blended family dynamics, and co-parenting challenges deepens her empathy and fuels her vision for spaces where people can rediscover hope one day at a time.

Together we heal. Together we thrive….one day at a time.
